It is amazing the number of stupid humans I have encountered in just the last two days since starting school. A good 75% of them piloting 2 ton eath machines hurtling down the 401 at 160kph.
I also find it incredible how dense people driving cars can be.
Example: On Wednesday, August 22 while on the way home from a test run to see how long it would take me to get there, I encountered a young women in a huge Lincoln Navigator with out of country plates. I can only decribe this young women as a valley girl driving daddy's SUV. She was taking this 3 ton vehicle and racing through thick traffic. The funny thing was, for all her hurry, she wasn't actually getting anywhere.
I ususally drive at somewhere between 130 and 140kph. I drive a 92 Passat wagon that at max load, weighs 3300lbs. My car is also two feet shorter and thus handles better. Either way, she passed me at least 7 times. She'd pass me, zip around some traffic, get stuck behind traffic within my line of sight and end up behind me. All that, just to do it again, 30 seconds later.
60 km later, I watched her zip off at her exit. I was just 6 car lengths behind her.
People, pay attention, driving like a retard just makes you retarded, it doesn't actually get you anywhere.
