More examples of Parking Stupidity...

At the moment, I park on the street when I come to school. Until EI kicks in, I'm too poor to afford a $200 parking pass for one semester. So as I'm rolling down the street, looking for a parking spot, I notice that a large number of cars are parked litterally 6 feet away from the car behind, and thus, 6 feet from the car in front. There was one spot where you could literally fit a Civic in the gap. I know this because as I was walking by it, a civic parked in it.

People, (not that anyone actually reads this) learn how big your cars actually are. You are not driving a 1967 Cadillac El Dorado. Most cars are under 12 feet in length. You do not need half a car length between you and the car behind/in front of you. In fact you need approx. 1/10th of a car length or about 12 inches. Try it some time.

Some people are allergic to peanuts?... I think I'm allergic to stupidity.

...

Damn it.... now I'm all itchy.

Is that a bad omen....?

So I'm driving to school and I hear on the radio that there is an accident on the 401 between hwy 24 and hwy 6. They had it all cleared up by the time I got there but here is what I heard in a nut shell.

A two vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer and a car. The ambulance arriving on scene somehow ended up in the ditch.

Whaaa??

How would you like to be the guy needing the ambulance and seeing it slid into the ditch, hopefully before they picked him up. That's got to be a bad start to the week.
